Kansas City’s longest running jam, Jerry’s Jam Night, is a forum where musicians and other artists gather to perform a high energy set of music ranging from classic to current rock, hip hop/rap, country, and blues.   Jerry’s Jam Night happens every Wednesday at Jerry’s Bait Shop in Old Towne Lenexa, Kansas from 9pm-1am, and every Thursday at Jerry’s Bait Shop in Downtown Lee’s Summit, Missouri from 9pm – 1am.     Jerry’s Jam Night creates an even playing field for all musicians, and ensure a festive and fun environment that is entertaining the audience.  Jerry’s Jam Night has performed with Poison, Eddie Money, Journey, Def Leppard, Motley Crue, and Aerosmith.   Jerry’s Jam Night is a rich resource for area musicians.  They gain performing experience, test new material, network with area musicians, find and audition for gigs, or all of the above.     Jerry’s Jam Night is opening the doors to future rockstars by starting the jam at 8pm the first Thursday of every month.  All ages are encouraged to come and experience the rush of adrenaline of stepping on the stage and winning over a room full of strangers.
